Vince Zampella, Has Died in a California Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The celebrated industry figure died after his car crashed and burst into flames on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
